Guiding Lantern

Therapy

Welcome,

I’m Meg, I offer in-person and virtual therapy to all types of people.

I hold space for people from all walks of life (18 & older)—mechanics, stay-at-home moms, lawyers, nurses, university students, firefighters—the full spectrum of human experience. Each of us is on our own journey, holding up our own proverbial lanterns, searching for ourselves. Sometimes, that journey gets overwhelming. But here’s the truth: We are not meant to do this alone. That’s where I come in. As the creator of Guiding Lantern, I believe therapy should be authentic, genuine, and deeply human.

My role is to help you find yourself—whether that’s by shining light on parts of your journey you haven’t yet explored or helping you navigate what’s ahead. Therapy is meant to show you how wildly capable you really are, even when the path feels overwhelming, dark, and frankly, scary. I’m here to support you in moving forward.

You’ll find that I laugh during sessions, and I’ve been known to spill coffee on myself from time to time. I’m human, and I’m here to help you reconnect with your humanity too.

I use an integrative therapeutic approach because no two paths are the same—so why should therapy be? I primarily draw from humanistic and psychodynamic theories but will sprinkle in elements of CBT, DBT, and ERP when needed. Somatic work is also a key part of my practice, as I believe mental health isn’t just about the mind—your body plays a vital role in this process too, and we must honor it as we journey forward.
